24KT GOLD PVD OVER IMPLANT GRADE TITANIUM BODY JEWELRY
24kt gold is the most pure form of gold there is – and, as gold is a soft metal, it is too soft to make into body jewelry. However, by using the gold PVD process, it is possible to get the look – and the luxury – of 24kt gold. The jewelry is placed in a heated, high vacuum chamber, where electric voltage is applied, vaporizing the coating and bonding agent (the 24kt gold) to implant-grade titanium material. This results in a hard, durable, and long lasting jewelry surface that can even be autoclaved – and it is considered to be hypoallergenic.
We have barbells, curves, hinged segment clickers, flat back nose hoops, and internally threaded bases – though you should definitely keep your eyes peeled, as there are many more styles of 24kt gold PVD jewelry coming to Invictus Body Jewelry in the near future.
