Healing the Hidden Helix
The Hidden Helix may be adorable, but healing isn’t always cute. It can take up to six months!
To ensure optimal healing of your new decoration, always follow proper aftercare instructions:
Rinse twice daily with a medical grade saline spray- we like Nielmed. Don’t twist, turn, poke, pull, or push your piercing. Do your best to avoid sleeping on your fresh piercing, and if you can’t switch sides, try sleeping with your ear in the hole of an airplane pillow. Return to your piercer to downsize your jewelry within 6-8 weeks, when the post seems a little long.
